Wanda F. Grant, age 75, born on August 4, 1946, in Olney, Illinois. went peacefully to her eternal home with Jesus on September 20, 2021. She loved all of her children, grandkids, and great-grandchildren. She would help and do anything for anyone. If someone passed away, she would bring a pie. She would feed the stray cats, and loved her grand dogs. She loved to ride her bike and sell peanut brittle for the Church of God. Wanda also loved camping and boating with her family. Wanda was always ready for the yearly camping trip. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
She is survived by five daughters, Lula (Brad) Zimmermann of Bloomington, IL, Barbara (Kristopher) Kulbiski f Bloomington, IL., Brenda (Bennie Cooper) Nelson of Norris City, IL., Cathy (Mike) Haydon of Bloomington, IL. and Pamela (Richard) Pollard of Bloomington, IL. She is also survived by 15 grandkids, Krystal (David Church), Kaycee and Kelsi Zimmermann, Karissa (Travis) Ryan, Dana Beth and Amy Kulbiski, Brandon (Hillary Winter) Nelson, Daniel (Kelsea) Nelson, Emily, Matthew (Rylee Ohse) Nelson, and Michael Nelson, Jamie and Codey (Katherine Smith) Bishop, Brian (Jozlin Anderson) Pollard, Jacob and Megan Pollard; and three great-grandchildren, Kenley Grace and Jonathon Locklar, and Matteo David Zimmermann; three brothers, Thomas (Lucy) Elliott of Pekin, IL., Ed (Viki) Riley, and Raymond Riley of Olney, IL., Bonnie McGrady of Olney, IL., and Shirley Poland of Noble, IL. She is preceded in death by her ex husband of 9 years, Jerry Grant; one brother, Allen Elliott, and her parents, Joseph and Evelyn Elliott. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Wanda Grant will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Carmi. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the First Baptist Church. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
