Kenneth Ackerman

Kenneth Ackerman, 85, of New Haven, passed away at 12:45 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. He was born in White County, IL on May 30, 1934 the son of Willard Frederick and Lula (Ridenour) Ackerman. Kenneth married Patsy J. Turner on June 7, 1955. He owned and operated Kenneth Ackerman Farms. He was a member of the Georgia General Baptist Church.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Patsy; son, Terry (Lisa) Ackerman, of Carmi; two daughters, Becky Ann (Steve Swanson) Ackerman, of Petersburg, IN and Donna June (William) Pollard, of Maunie; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Lola Smith and Lula VInson and seven brothers, Wayne, Joseph, William, Howard, James, Fred and Herbert Ackerman.

Funeral services for Kenneth Ackerman, 85, of New Haven, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22. 2019 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery in Carmi. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to service time Saturday at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Wabash Christian Village and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
