Jonah Goodman

Thomas Jonah Michael Goodman, 9, of Jeffersonville, IN and formerly of Fairfield entered the arms of Jesus on Thursday, March 11, 2021.  He was born in Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL on September 20, 2011 the son of Casie Michelle (Knight) and Thomas Jared Goodman. Jonah attended Wesleyan Church in Fairfield. He enjoyed watching movies, his favorite being the Toy Story ones, playing games like Stinky Feet and catch. Everyone felt lucky if Jonah gave you a hug.

Jonah is survived by his parents, Jared and Casie Goodman of Jeffersonville, IN; sister, Kylie Jo Goodman; grandparents, Tonia and Tony Hickenbottom of Grayville, Rick and Kelly Knight of Carmi, and Thomas and Carlene Goodman of Fairfield; great-grandparents, Ruth and Carl Bunnage of Fairfield, Marilyn Henton of Bone Gap, Johnny Long of Carmi and Sandy Long of Grayville; aunts and uncles, Jessica (Tony) Oliver, Carletta (Brandon) Webb and Milene Goodman all of Fairfield, Brandie (Daniel Dunn) Knight of Grayville, Chelsie (Robert) Manion of Evansville, IN, Brynn (Bob) Thompson of Effingham, IL and Logan (Hailey) Spruell of Glendale, AZ; along with numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins and his family at the Home of the Innocents and the nurses at Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville.

A Private family funeral service will be held at Wesleyan Church of Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jonah's memory to Home of the Innocents, 1100 E. Market St., Louisville, KY 40206 and can made directly to them, online at www.homeoftheinnocents.org or by mailing to Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements
